Sew-in foam stabilizer can be used in various applications such as bag making, quilting, and garment construction. It provides support and shape to the project without adding bulk.
- Usage instructions: Cut your fabric pieces according to your project's pattern or desired dimensions. Measure and cut the sew-in foam stabilizer to match the size and shape of the fabric pieces you are working with. Place the cut pieces of stabilizer on the wrong side of the fabric, aligning the edges. Make sure the stabilizer covers the areas that require added structure and stability. Secure the stabilizer to the fabric by either pinning it in place or basting around the edges. This will prevent the stabilizer from shifting during the sewing process. With the stabilizer in place, sew the fabric layers together. The stabilizer will provide added support and structure to the fabric.
- Once you have completed the sewing, trim any excess stabilizer that extends beyond the fabric edges. Be careful not to cut into the fabric itself.
